"They’re doing it again."
Leonard and John exchanged anxious, knowing looks for a fleeting moment before focusing back on Sheldon and Sherlock. They were both smiling. They were not looking at each other, but it was impossible to miss the fact that they were smiling at each other. More, at each other’s mere presence.
It only took a moment of this to realize John and Leonard’s exchange about the number of experiments they had witnessed in their very living rooms had sparked an idea.
And if Sheldon and Sherlock were concerned, the idea involved human body parts and some radioactive chemical.
Somehow, to John and Leonard, the two didn’t seem to mix.
"Fancy a coffee break?" John asked.
"There’s one just down the street," Leonard confirmed, already standing up and making toward the door.
